Back to your original home.
Follow the path from checking your device and saving the original configuration to installation and recovery. Match TV menu names to your exact model.
Find your restore record
Use the record created during installation. Check the model, address and original home component. Never reuse a backup from a different television.
Reconnect your computer
Enable debugging, join the same trusted network and approve your computer on the television again.
Restore the original launcher
Choose Restore in the installation assistant. It sets the recorded original home as the default and opens it, using the backup for this exact television.
Check and finish
Press Home and confirm the original launcher opens. Test a favourite app and your normal HDMI input. Turn debugging off after recovery.
Having trouble connecting?
Check that the TV address has not changed, both devices share the same network, and the TV has approved the computer. Guest networks can block device-to-device access. Do not expose TV debugging to the public internet.
